Sheldon Keefe confirms Bobby McMann won't play game 7
The Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed that Bobby McMann won't take part in game 7 against the Boston Bruins.
In his press conference ahead of the Leafs' ultimate clash against the Bruins, coach Keefe revealed that McMann isn't far from a return, but it won't be in tonight's game.
"Bobby McMann «not too far off,» per Keefe, but will not play Game 7."
McMann took part in the Leafs' morning skate for the first time since his injury, which could indicate that the forward could get back in the line up soon.
David Alter stated:
"Bobby McMann is also taking part in morning skate. First time we've seen him on the ice."
If the Leafs manage to win game 7 and join the Florida Panthers in the second round, they'll need all the help they can get for their second matchup against the Cats in two straight seasons.
With McMann and Matthews possibly back on the line up soon, and with the way that Joseph Woll has been playing between the pipes since he replaced Ilya Samsonov at the end of the game 4, it looks like nothing could stop the Leafs from reaching the Stanley Cup Finals.
