The Toronto Maple Leafs' quest to find a new General Manager is already underway.
As many consider Brad Treliving to be the best choice for the job, a new candidate has emerged, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.
Currently working as Assistant GM in Carolina, Eric Tulsky is rumored to be a solid candidate to fill Kyle Dubas' old job.
The Leafs aren't the only team interested, but a contender for Tulsky reportedly has their eyes set on someone else.
The Penguins, initially interested in Tulsky, shifted their focus to Dubas. If the rumors are true, they're ready to give him the resources he needs to quickly rebuild the team.
Tulsky has an impressive record. He played a significant role in the Hurricanes' journey to the Eastern Conference Finals, accomplishing that with fewer resources than he would have had in Toronto.
Tulsky's credentials are impressive. His significant role in the Hurricanes' journey to the Eastern Conference Finals and the seamless functioning of their operations, despite their relatively meager resources compared to the Leafs, speak volumes.
While Treliving may have a lot of experience, Tulsky has a lot of potential. This choice could very well propel the Leafs into a new era of hockey.
