The Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators are both trying to gain a lead tonight as they enter game three in a 1-1 tie. During the game, Predators forward Michael McCarron got a little carried away though as he made a hit on Canucks goalie Casey DeSmith.

DeSmith was attempting to play the puck behind his net. He was firmly within the trapezoid, the legal area where goalie are allowed to do this. Normally, this does not make the goaltender eligible to be hit by a skater. However, that still happened to DeSmith in this case.
