Cap Issues May Force Golden Knights to Trade Defenseman

It was just reported by Jesse Granger of The Althetic that Alec Martinez might be on the move to help the Golden Knights get cap compliant
The Golden Knights have no available cap space and sit $4 million above the cap limit.
Martinez has one-year left at $5.25 million.
Martinez's Production
The 36-year-old defencemen has had a career revitalization since joining the Knights collecting 32 points in 53 games in his first full season in Vegas.
He has 52 total points as a member of Vegas, and has been a key member of their defence core that just won the Stanley Cup.
Martinez is now a 3-time Stanley Cup Champion with over 750 games of NHL experience and would be a great addition to many NHL teams looking to add a veteran defencemen
