Golden Knights Unite to Take Out Player who threw a dirty hit on captain Mark Stone
The Vegas Golden Knights united after a player threw a dirty hit on Mark Stone further fueling their rivalry with the LA Kings.
Things Get Ugly
The Vegas Golden Knights faced off against the LA Kings last night and about halfway through the second period, Kings forward Hayden Hodgson laid the boom on Mark Stone and chaos ensued.
Immediately following the hit, Hodgson was jumped by basically of the Knights on the ice and Stone clearly was not a fan after the game saying this about Hodgson.
"That's probably the last time I'll ever play against that guy. Not really much of a player, so I'll leave it at that." - Mark Stone
The Divisive Hit
The hit has divided fans on whether or not it was clean and it is truly up for interpretation. The majority of non-Knights fans seem to call it a clean hit.
Beautifully executed clean hit
I don't like how this game is devolving. Clean hit, separated the man from the puck, and everyone loses their shit. How about you keep your head up, and play on!
Wasn't it a late hit? Puck was long gone.
What do you think; was the hit clean or dirty?
