BREAKING: Vegas Golden Knights Have Player Stolen Off Waivers
The Vegas Golden Knights have lost a player to the waiver wire and he will be heading to a rival Stanley Cup contender.
Panthers Spite The Knights With Waiver Claim
Yesterday the Vegas Golden Knights looked to clear out some cap space by placing young defenseman Tobias Bjornfot on waivers. This did not work out well though because the Florida Panthers claimed Bjornfot.
#FlaPanthers claim Tobis Bjornfot from #VGK.
Bjornfot was claimed by the Golden Knights earlier this season from the LA Kings and has upside considering he was a first round pick in 2019.
This does not hurt nearly as much though because the Knights brought in Noah Hanifin and their defensive corps will stay strong.
