Mark Stone's wife brings Vegas' antics back into the spotlight
The Vegas Golden Knights certainly know their way around a salary cap loophole, and after a recent social media post, their antics are back in the spotlight.
It's no secret at this point that the Vegas Golden Knights know how to exploit the NHL's rules on the LTIR, and during a recent game, Mark Stone's wife of all people poked fun at the situation.
I wish I was joking folks. 😳

For months and even years now, fans have taken issue with Vegas going all in to chase a Stanley Cup, as their owner is clearly ready to do whatever it takes within the rules of roster construction to make that happen. With Stone conveniently returning from a major injury just days before the playoffs began, this certainly isn't a good look, as it marks three years in a row he's done this for Vegas.
Ultimately, there's absolutely nothing to prevent Vegas from continuing to do this in the future, and while the team continues to get hate for it from their rivals, they're well within their right to do so, with their captain and his wife happy to poke fun at the situation.
