Heartwarming Scene as Young Deaf Hockey Player Meets His Hero Alex Ovechkin
Alex Ovechkin is one of, if not the greatest goalscorer of all time. Many kids dream of playing in the NHL and lighting the lamp the way Ovechkin does, and he is the epitome of the dream.
Deaf Player Meets Ovi
Keivonn Woodard, a dead hockey player who also acted in the series The Last of Us, met Ovechkin, and used sign language with his hero.
It was truly a heartwarming scene, especially as Ovechkin learned some sign language to speak to his new friend.
This will be a memory Keivonn holds for life, and hopefully he will become the first deaf player to ever play in the NHL.
