Ottawa Senators Set to Acquire Chychrun
The Senators showed last year that they weren't afraid to pay big assets for a player they wanted.
Acquiring Alex DeBrincat at the draft was a testament to the drive of this team moving forward.
While they didn't reach their goals in 2022-23, acquiring a guy like Chychrun would leave them in good shape for the upcoming campaign.
The Senators will have the assets to pull it off, especially considering their valuable first round pick in 2023 being on the table.
