Pierre-Luc Dubois has been traded to the Washington Capitals

According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Washington Capitals have acquired forward Pierre Luc Dubois from the LA Kings.

Pierre-Luc Dubois, went half a point per game in his first season as a King, where he was acquired by the Jets near the NHL draft last summer. It hasn't been exactly a good stinct in Los Angeles, he will now start a new chapter in Washington.

Darcy Kuemper will be joining the LA Kings, a team that has desperately been searching for a netminder. Now is the chance for Kuemper to make the most of his contract in a change of scenery. The goaltender is currently making 5.2 M for the next three years.

This acquisition brings in a talented 25-year-old with immense potential to become a top-tier center in the NHL. With his size, exceptional skating, and high hockey IQ, we are confident he will thrive in our organization with increased responsibility and opportunity.
