After yet another brutal game between Florida and Boston last night, Panthers forward Sam Bennet has officially had his fate regarding suspension confirmed following a nasty hit to Brad Marchand.
The Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins have consistently proved to be some of the dirtiest players in the NHL, with their series characterized by numerous fights and scattered brawls. However, one nasty hit from Sam Bennet last night left Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand out of the game for an upper-body injury.
After the game, Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery provided his full commentary on the situation. Upon his review of the hit, Montgomery implied that he believed Bennet intentionally hit Marchand.
