Late in the first period, Marchand dropped the gloves.
Bruins Captain Brad Marchand Drops The Gloves Against Joel Hanley of the Dallas Stars
With less than a minute remaining on the first period, Marchand engaged in a fight against Joel Hanley of the Dallas Stars.
For most of the fight, Marchand and Hanley remained closed together in what looked more like a wrestling match. At the end, Marchand got the upper hand by swigning his arm around Hanley and making him fall on the ice.
