Stamkos Out With Injury
The Tampa Bay Lightning are facing off against the Ottawa Senators tonight but will be missing a key piece of their core with Steven Stamkos suffering a lower-body injury.
Steven Stamkos will not play in Ottawa tonight. He is day to day with a lower-body injury.
Stamkos opened the season strong with 2 goals and 4 points in the Lightning's first two games.
Luckily, it is a small issue but if it becomes worse, Tampa would be without their captain and their all-star goaltender, Andrei Vasilevskiy.
