At the start of training camp, the Ottawa Senators gave a professional tryout contract to former New York Islanders fifth overall pick in 2014, Michael Dal Colle.
Unfortunately, Pierre Dorion announced yesterday that he was releasing him from his deal.
In 39 games last season with the Bridgeport Islanders, Dal Colle had 22 points.
He played one game with Long Island.
