Avs looking to trade a Dman to make room for Nazem Kadri

Sam Girard, a defenseman for the Colorado Avalanche, has reportedly been linked to trade rumors in the NHL as the Avs are interested in re-signing free agent Nazem Kadri but need to clear salary contract space in order to do so.
Wow, Sam Girard is a heck of a player but I guess the Avs really want to bring back Naz and try to repeat!
If the Avalanche are incapable to bringing back Nazem Kadri this will make a huge hole in the middle for Colorado.
