BREAKING: The NHL Breaks The Silence Regarding The Five Players Suspensions from Team Canada
The NHL has broken its silence on the 2018 World Junior Championship scandal.
Daly Speaks On The Scandal
Katie Strang, an Investigative Journalist for The Athletic, recently reached out to Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly regarding the 2018 Team Canada WJC scandal.
She reported the following:
Asked whether NHL will announce any resolution on 2018 WJC investigation prior to NHL training camps opening, NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said via email he does not «have a specific timetable to share at this time»
-Via Katie Strang
While there is no "specific timetable" we can determine that it will likely happen before the start of training camps.
Several insiders know the names of the five players involved and have even reported that the announcement will be "imminent".
While we do not know the names exactly, we do know that it will be five of the following players:
Dillon Dubé, Jonah Gadjovich, Boris Katchouk, Maxime Comtois, Taylor Raddysh, Tyler Steenbergen, Drake Batherson, Michael McLeod, Brett Howden, Sam Steel, Alex Formenton, Jordan Kyrou, Robert Thomas, Jake Bean, Conor Timmins, Cal Foote, Cale Makar, Dante Fabbro, Kale Clague, Victor Mete, Colton Point, Carter Hart.
More news to come.
