TSN insiders Pierre LeBrun and Darren Dreger just dropped some massive news regarding 22-year-old Shane Pinto, a player who is currently unsigned and holding out on his contract.

Sources say the #NHL suspension for #Sens RFA Shane Pinto is for sports betting related activity, which would make it the first suspension for sports gambling in league history.
As this would be the first sports betting punishment in league history, we will have to see how long Pinto is suspended for to set a precedent. He scored 20 goals last year in his rookie campaign.
UPDATE: Elliotte Friedman confirmed it would be a 41 game suspension.
