The Bruins want to strike a deal as soon as the expansion is done!
On Tuesday night, Darren Dreger reported on Insider Trading on TSN that things were indeed moving in the right direction for both camps.
«Ongoing negotiations between the Boston Bruins and veteran forward Taylor Hall. Look, Taylor Hall wants to stay with the Bruins, he feels like he's a real good fit there, he wants to give them a chance to get a deal done until July 28 when the free agent window opens entirely. So work to be done there, but there is at least some optimism between the two sides.»
Then this morning, Frank Seravalli has pointed out that the Bruins might have just presented a new offer to Hall to get him off the free market and back into their roster.
«Expectation is Hall will indeed remain in Boston after the signing moratorium is lifted. Wouldn't be surprised to see a deal in the 4 years x $6 million neighborhood.»
