According to Jean-Charles Lavoie of TVA Sports in Montreal, a conflict between Petry and Ducharme may force the defenseman's hand.
In a piece on TVA Sports' JiC, Lajoie speculated that Petry is dissatisfied in Montreal and may want go.
Certainly, Petry's start to the season is different from his in 2020! With the Habs' lack of depth, we doubt Ducharme would bench Petry. Petry must regain his enthusiasm on the ice and with his teammates or he will continue to make expensive errors and the feud with his head coach will worsen.
And that could lead to a deal.
