Carey Price opens up for a rare interview
The guys from "La Poche Bleue" had the chance to interview Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price.
For this first part of the interview, as it will be broadcast in two parts, Price talked about his years in junior and the NHL pre-draft process.
Have you ever heard Price discuss his career for several minutes? For me, it was the first time I'd ever seen that, and he's thanked for that generosity.
As reported by my colleague Vincent Fournier of Let's Go Habs, there are two interesting things to take away from this interview.
1) His most difficult interview was in Montreal. He even said that one person asked him to answer a question like: why do you give away a bad goal every game?
Wow.
2) Carey thought he was going to get drafted by the Minesota Wild or the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Wild drafted 4th and the team ended up selecting Benoit Pouliot. The CH drafted 5th and selected Price before he went to the Blue Jackets, who eventually drafted Gilbert Brule.
