In the early stages of inter-squad play, Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield was paired with veteran Mike Hoffman, but also with 26th overall pick in the last draft, Filip Mesar.
Mesar, who can play on the wing, is a natural center and has been able to experiment with his skills on the same lineup as Caufield.
Already, Caufield sees good things in this young prospect.
« He is easy to play with. He is constantly on the move and has a lot of energy. He looked very good today. » - Cole Caufield
Let's be honest, it's positive for the future of the Montreal Canadiens!
