Colorado Avalanche make a surprise acquisition

On the eve of the start of the Stanley Cup Finals, the Colorado Avalanche have made a move and agreed to terms on a one-season contract with forward Lukas Sedlak.
The 29-year-old centre spent last season with Chelyabinsk Traktor in the KHL.
In 49 games, he scored 43 points.
The Czech is a 2011 sixth round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets. He has played a total of 162 NHL games with 27 points.
