Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin was interviewed by Mario Langlois yesterday on the Cogeco network's Amateurs de sports.
Obviously, they discussed his future with the Habs, his most recent surgery, his newborn son, but also the future captain of the Habs.
« We're not in pee-wee, bantam anymore where everyone puts their vote in for the captain. The organization is going to pick the right captain." -Jonathan Drouin
And what about Suzuki, is he ready to take on this role?
« Yes. There's definitely going to be a little more pressure than usual. I don't know if you want to put that on him. But I think if there's someone who's ready in this young group... Nick Suzuki is super mature, super calm, super on his game. He does his job on the ice, off the ice. » So... Will Suzuki be the captain? To be continued!
