George Parros drops the bomb on Mark Scheifele
Following yesterday's brutal hit by Mark Scheifele on Jake Evans, the NHL safety department and George Parros have dropped the verdict on Mark Scheifele.
Evans who was carried off the ice on a stretcher, spent Wednesday night at the hotel with his teammates under supervision from the doctors. He is said to be doing well and was responsive, although he has a concussion and is out indefinitely. Habs head coach Dominique Ducharme thanked Nikolaj Ehlers of the Jets for shielding Evans from the ensuing scrum and making sure he wasn't hurt further.
