As the Tampa Bay Lightning celebrate winning their second consecutive Stanley Cup, a photo taken during the traditional handshake has been the talk of the town over the past day.
When looking closer at the picture, some fans were surprised to see the difference in weight between these two goalies. Clearly, the Lightning's goalie, Andrei Vasilevskiy, looks like he takes up a lot more space in his net than the Montreal Canadiens' Carey Price.
However, according to the NHL, the two goalies have only two kilograms difference and have the same height, 191 cm.
It seems that Vasilevskiy's equipment is much bigger than Price's. That would explain why he takes up so much space in his net.
Now, it is to wonder if his equipment is in conformity or not, but that is another story.
