It's no surprise to anyone: forward Phillip Danault's future in Montreal is more than uncertain.
Some media outlets, including the Journal de Montréal, are reporting that the field hockey player does not expect to re-sign with the CH after being left unprotected for the Seattle Kraken's expansion draft on Wednesday night. The athlete who turned down a $5 million per season offer last September will become an uncompensated free agent on July 28.
