According to Pierre Lebrun, Gaudreau would be interested in signing a contract with the Flames, but would have to study the market to possibly receive a better offer.
He has targeted the New Jersey Devils and the Seattle Kraken as potential destinations as they look to improve their roster.
Either way, Gaudreau will likely be paid a lot of money for the great season he had. With Matthew Tkachuk out of contract as well, the Flames will have some crucial choices to make.
