Even though we're in the middle of the off-season, the trade rumors don't stop.
As my colleague William Nadeau of HabsAndNHL points out, a second wave of trades should occur in early September, before the season starts. Remember that it was in September that the CH acquired Christian Dvorak, Jake Allen or even Nick Suzuki.
According to several rumors, the forward Joel Armia could leave Calgary.
«According to information obtained in the last few days, there have been talks between the Flames and the CH to acquire Joel Armia." - Scouting Review
With his 14 points in 60 games last season, either way, Kent Hughes will attempt to trade his $3.4M per year contract through 2025 in an effort to free up some payroll space.
The Habs are expected to sign Kirby Dach and Cayden Primeau in the coming weeks.
