In case you missed last nights game, Brad Marchand drove the refs crazy and cost himself a 10-minute misconduct:
In an interview with TSN's Mark Masters on Wednesday, Tavares described what happened during that shift:
«He gave me a few cross checks. It is what it is. I'm just going to keep playing and focus on executing and doing the job I need to do that's part of his game so you just don't get drawn into that.»
Basically, Marchand tried to get under Tavares skin but it did not work. Brad probably thought it would get the Leafs off their game.
The Maple Leafs are on a mission this year, hopefully they win the first round and get that monkey off their back!
