At the most recent trade deadline, Habs GM Kent Hughes traded forward Tyler Toffoli to the Calgary Flames.
In return, the Habs received a first round pick in 2022 (Filip Mesar), veteran Tyler Pitlick and young prospect Emil Heineman.
In fact, many experts believe that the 20-year-old will be the future Artturi Lehkonen of the Canadiens. Both players have a very similar style of play and are excellent on the 200-foot ice.
Last season in Sweden, Heineman had 16 points in 38 games. He could make his debut with the Laval Rocket this year.
