Young prospect Jack Hughes, son of the Montreal Canadiens' general manager, told TVA Sports' Anthony Martineau how his meeting with the Canadiens at the NHL Combine in Buffalo went.

Hughes said his father left the room and returned to the back of the room without speaking. He let his colleagues handle the interview.

Jack Hughes met with the CH just recently.

"My father walked out of the room for a moment, leaving me alone with the other members of management. Then he came back in and sat in the back of the room. It was a bit of a strange and very funny interview."

Hughes was also asked about young American Logan Cooley, who is a top-3 prospect in this draft.

Kent Hughes did ask his son about Logan Cooley.

"I've told him nothing but good things about him. He's a good player and a very good person."

In closing, Jack Hughes revealed that he would like to do what his father did one day in his post-career.

Jack Hughes mentions that he would like to be a GM in the NHL someday, much like his father.

"But I have a long career to have before that."
