The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that Forward Mitch Marner has been placed in Covid 19 Protocol, this has to be tough on Marner who missed nearly a month of action after running into teammate Jake Muzzin in practice.
Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe said Marner is doing ok with only "minor symptoms" as the Leafs head to a 4 games road trip starting Saturday night in Colorado.
"It's just the reality of the situation," Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly said following practice before the club flew to Denver. "Everybody's going through it. We've just got to keep focused on the guys we have available.
"Next man up and get out there and work."
«That's the world we're living in," Toronto forward Jason Spezza said of his side's current absences. "We've kind of gotten used to it."
