Saturday, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper ruled out the possibility of Point returning for that game.
I may be reading too much into Cooper's decision, but it appears that Point is not even close to returning if the Lightning are confident he won't be ready for Game 3 so early on.
Point was Tampa's best player last Stanley Cup playoffs. The Lightning won't go far in these series without Brayden Point in my opinion.
