As TSN's Chris Johnston reports, Stanley Cup champion and Calgary Flames rookie Nazem Kadri will be celebrating in Toronto last week with the cup.
He will also be in his hometown of London.
Nazem Kadri played ten seasons with the Maple Leafs. The bad tongues will say that the city will finally welcome the Stanley Cup after many years of waiting.
Still, this is a very nice gesture by Kadri!
This week, the veteran centre signed a seven-season, $7 million-a-year deal with the Calgary Flames.
Last season with the Avalanche, Kadri scored 28 goals and 59 assists for a total of 87 points in 71 games.
