According to journalist Irfaan Gaffar, the chances of a monster trade in the 2022 draft are very high.
The Devils are looking to trade their first round pick, second overall, and have long wanted to acquire J.T. Miller.
A perfect fit, right?
The trade could look something like this:
To VANCOUVER - 2nd overall pick
AT NEW JERSEY - JT Miller (and possibly a pick) .
Miller has 99 points this season in 80 games. He has produced at a rate of 88 points/82 games for the past 3 years.
He is 29 years old and earns $5.25M per year through 2023.
