Patrick Kane Drops a Bombshell Concerning His Future, and Blackhawks Fans Should Be Excited
When Mark Lazarus of The Atheltic did a profile on Patrick Kane, he dropped a bombshell nobody was expecting.
As Kane edges closer to retirement, his future is in question. Lazarus opted to discuss this with Kane, and in the process, the two agreed that Kane has "future general manager" potential.
Kane stated that he'd be interested in joining the Blackhawks in a management role in retirement from playing.
While he equally stated that he would want to spend time with his family, as the itch to get back into the industry he loves grows, this is a very real path.
So, while the playing era of Patrick Kane in Chicago is coming to and end, a new era may very well be on the horizon.
