Penguins Players Make a Massive Sacrifice to Help Teammate Kris Letang
The Pittsburgh Penguins are an extremely tight-knit group.
Held together by the longest-standing trio of players in sports history, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang, the locker room is more like a family.
Tragedy struck for Letang last week, when his father became ill. Unfortunately, Letang's father passed away.
PuckEmpire just reported that the entire Penguins team took a 4AM flight to Montreal following a game in Arizona to come join their good friend in a tough time, and attend the funeral.
What an impressive group of people, who are willing to sacrifice their time to be there for their friend. Hockey is truly more than just a sport.
We here at HockeyPatrol wish the best to the friends and family of the Letang's now.
