Ryan Ellis, a very underrated defenseman, is most likely retiring.
Check it out:
"One team told me that the Ryan Ellis situation has sent a chill throughout the league. Looking at Chychrun and seeing that he's hurt again... their biggest fear would be that you give up the assets to get this guy and then you get what happened with Ryan Ellis."
Fletcher says it's way premature to say if this is season ending or career ending for Couturier. Says that Couturier is feeling better than he did last year. They're optimistic is can be resolved.
However, he does acknowledge that Ryan Ellis' issue could be career ending.
