Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) claimed that over 14 500 fans attended Game 5 of the semifinals versus the Shawinigan Cataractes at the Centre Videotron.
14,563 fans in Quebec City tonight for a junior hockey game. Meanwhile, the NHL's Arizona Coyotes will play in a 5,000-seat arena next season. Somehow this makes sense to Gary Bettman.
Bettman wants to keep the Coyotes in the NHL, and it's evident that the commissioner won't even notice tonight's crowd in Quebec City for a junior game...
This is ridiculous I bet you the Quebec Nordique will sell more jerseys in one year than the Coyotes did in 10 years.
