Newly traded to the Florida Panthers, forward Claude Giroux is already shopping for his next team, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Originally from Hearst, Ontario, Giroux would like to be closer to family and friends.
That's why, according to Friedman, he would like to sign with the Ottawa Senators this summer.
The 34-year-old Franco-Ontarian has 42 points in 57 games this season in Philadelphia. If all goes well, he should play his first game with his new team tonight at the Bell Centre against the Canadiens.
