Thursday night, Lehner sent out a strange pair of tweets that seemed to indicate he was in trouble. Lehner not only claimed he was threatened with cancellation, but he even implied he was willing to die for his beliefs.
Here's the first portion of his message, altered for clarity:
''Everyone are coming for me. That's fine I'm willing to die for what I believe in. Vinnie P if I'm cancelled so be it. I heard people coming for me and I welcome them.''
But Lehner wasn't done. Despite his refusal to elaborate, he reaffirmed his view that he was being pursued and that he was ready to face the consequences. Lehner claimed teams and organisations were looking to fire him this time, but he would be finally free to speak his thoughts.
Here's Lehner's second message, clarified:
''Last thing I'm thankful for is that corporations and teams coming for me. Please do it. I don't need documents I'm happy to get cancelled as my mouthguard will be released for real. Please come at me. I really don't care. I'm just focused to win and make sure people don't get hurt.''
The tweet has now been deleted, here is a screenshot.
