The Toronto Maple Leafs' injury woes continue as defensemen Conor Timmins was forced to leave Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames but was able to return.

It has already been a stressful Tuesday for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as the team learned they would be without Mitch Marner for their game against Calgary and is listed as day-to-day.

The injury problems just seem to keep on coming for the Maple Leafs as they lost defensemen Conor Timmins to an injury after colliding with Brayden Pachal.

Though it was a scary scene momentarily, the Maple Leafs defensemen seemed to be okay as he returned to the bench shortly after leaving.

Conor Timmins The Latest Victim Of The Injury Bug

It just keeps piling on for the Maple Leafs doesn't it? They've only had three players this season who have suited up for every game: William Nylander, Morgan Rielly and Steven Lorentz.

Though he was able to return to the game, it's still another Maple Leafs player who either got hurt or had an injury scare. The team just got John Tavares and Matthew Knies back and just as quickly lost Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Mitch Marner (though the former has since returned).

Timmins this season hasn't had the strongest year, with only one goal and six assists in 43 games and though he's blocking a ton of shots, he struggles a bit with his positioning and it's cost the team at times.

Timmins is a former 32nd overall pick of the Colorado Avalanche in 2017 and has four goals and 34 assists in 134 games with time spent in Colorado, Arizona, and Toronto.

He is in the final year of his two-year, $2.2M deal he signed in 2023.
