Bo Horvat, the captain of the Vancouver Canucks, is rumoured to be on the move, according to Dhaliwhal. Horvat's contract expires in the offseason of 2023, making him an unrestricted free agent at the age of 27. Is it really possible to blame Horvat for wanting to move on if the Canucks decide to rebuild?
Losing Horvat would be disastrous for the Canucks. Unlike Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, or Thatcher Demko, he is the team's undisputed leader and a force forward to be reckoned with. Losing him will impact an already shaky squad on and off the ice.
