Prospect Shane Wright had dinner with Kent Hughes, Jeff Gorton and some members of the Montreal Canadiens organization earlier this week.
He tells us about his great moment.
I had the chance to get to know them better. They asked me questions about my personality. I asked questions about the city. I'm happy with my meeting. There are some great individuals in this organization." - Shane Wright
He believes he should be drafted first.
It would mean a lot to me [to be the first pick]," Wright said. It would mean that all the effort, work and hours I put into it paid off. It's one thing to get this honour, but it's another to be able to make a difference and be a franchise player. The most important thing is what you do after being selected with the first pick. It's getting ready for training camp and showing that you deserve a spot on a roster." - Shane Wright
Finally, Wright says that having Martin St. Louis as head coach is a big advantage for the Habs.
