For several years, Sidney Crosby has been the face of the Tim Hortons franchise, along with his friend Nathan MacKinnon.
The Journal Le Soir of Rimouski has learned in the last few hours that Sid The Kid will be back where it all started for him, in Rimouski, in order to shoot an ad.
Here is the concept of the publicity in question:
An advertisement about the memory of one morning in 2003, in Rimouski, when Sidney Crosby spotted the crowd of people waiting for him at the arena, while the weather was freezing.
To thank them for their loyalty, the young Sidney Crosby stopped at Tim Hortons to bring back donuts and coffee for the fans.
The producers of the ad were looking for people who were in the crowd that morning in 2003 to discuss their experience on camera.
According to Le Soir, Crosby will be in Rimouski for the commercial.
The whole thing will be filmed at Tim Hortons, on Arthur-Buies Boulevard West.
