We reported a few weeks ago that Canucks star forward Brock Boeser broke down in tears during his end-of-season media availability.
The reason was straightforward. A reporter had inquired about his father, with whom he is very close and who has been suffering from dementia for several months.
Unfortunately, this was not the case, which contributed to the forward's struggles on the ice this season.
Boeser's mother updated the situation and said her husband, Duke Boeser, was on his last round of ice and will pass away shortly.
His entire family is currently at his bedside for his final moments.
How sad.
