The Buffalo Sabres are in a very tough spot right now when it comes to goaltending this season.
The news comes somewhat self-inflicted after Buffalo Sabres goaltender Aaron Dell was suspended 3 games for a cheap shot to Ottawa Senators forward Drake Batherson during Tuesdays night's 5-0 loss.
Aswell today the Buffalo Sabres announced goaltender Michael Houser has been been placed into the NHL's covid protocol. Buffalo Sabres hockey analyst also shared more bad news for the Sabres that goaltenders Craig Anderson is still out with a upper body and Dustin Tokarski still has "lingering effects of covid."
However both Craig Anderson, and Dustin Tokarski are practicing with the Sabres but neither are guarantee for Saturday night's game vs the Arizona Coyotes.
