NHL trade rumors reports that Vegas Golden Knights defenceman Alec Martinez is very close to returning. The report came from Golden Knights owner Bill Foley, however COVID-19 had delayed his return, and he must clear that before he's good to go.
Martinez is 34 and was injured back in November playing the Minnesota Wild, with a lower-body injury. Martinez's return is definitely good news for Golden Knights fans who are sitting as kings of the castle in the Pacific division with 48 points but have teams right behind them in the standings.
