According to two well-placed NHL sources, Montreal Canadiens centre Christian Dvorak is worth no more than a fourth-round pick, and ultimately a third.
Still very disappointing, especially with the end of the season he had and the price Marc Bergevin paid at the time.
One of these sources confirms that Dvorak is a third centre, who earns a high salary for that position, at $4.45M per year.
"With the CH, he's exactly that, a third-line player, so I can't imagine him on a team like Tampa or Colorado."
The other source was a bit more positive.
"If he plays well on 200 feet, he can be very effective and I think he can alternate between the second and third lines."
At that price, do we keep him?
