Acquired by the Colorado Avalanche at the trade deadline, Artturi Lehkonen's file is sitting on the customs desk.
Still not having received his visa to play in the United States, the famous O-1 Visa, the Finn has missed two games since his arrival with Colorado.
Let's just say that the team's head coach, Jared Bednar, is very anxious to get this resolved.
"I'd love to see him in the lineup, but we still haven't heard anything. We are forced to wait." -Jared Bednar, Avalanche head coach
Practices are not considered work, so Lehky can practice with his teammates, but can't play in games, which are considered work.
This is obviously an issue we'll be following closely in the coming days.
